New Product Checklist

These emails have the scanned sign off sheet attached.

1. Open the attachment and find the NP number at the top right hand side of the screen. If not listed use the product part number. If the NP number is on both the New Variants Smartsheet and the New Product Smartsheet, enter all information in both places.

2. Open the New Variants Smartsheet and search for the NP number (make sure it matches the product part number on the scanned sign off sheet.

3. Open the comments on the NP number row and type: Scanned sign off sheet attached to this line PILTD-SO2xxxxxxx, Shipment Number PILTD-24xxxxxxxxxxx, Ship date xx/xx/xxxx

4. Copy the Sales Order number from the scanned sign off sheet and open X3. Click on Sales Order - All Full Entry and paste the number into Order Number at the top left hand side.

5. On right hand side of screen click Situation which will take you to the Order Status window, as below:

6. Copy the Shipment Number to the New Variants / New Products Smartsheet comments section and fill in the same date to match the Ship Date on X3.

7. Now change the Actual Ship Date on the relevant Smartsheet to match X3 - Do Not change the Status.

Note: If the Sales Order on X3 states 'Pending', it simply means it is awaiting an update. Leave this email in the R&D Admin folder and apply a new category of 'Waiting Shipment on X3'

8. Attach the email to the relevant Smartsheet and then file the email in the R&D Projects - Scanned Sign off sheets folder
